Jamie Hamilton

Jamie Hamilton is a member of Monitor Innovation, a Monitor Group company. He was previously a manager at Scientific Generics / Sagentia where he worked in the Business Innovation practice. Prior to his consulting career he worked for a number of years at Westland Helicopters.

Jamie has experience of working with clients across a range of fields including aerospace and defense, engineering, chemicals, materials and the public sector. He has worked with senior management teams to identify and address new growth opportunities based on emerging market and customer needs and to develop their in-house capabilities and address any internal barriers to innovation within the organization, including training, organizational design and reducing product development lead times.

Jamie has often spoken at conferences on the subject of innovation and design and published a number of articles in this area. He holds a PhD in Design from Cambridge University, an MSc in Computational Mathematics from Imperial College and a degree in Mathematics from Nottingham University.
