Dr. Adam Greenberg

Adam Greenberg is a member of Monitor Innovation and an Associate Partner at Monitor Group Company. Prior to joining Monitor, Adam was a Manager at ISO Healthcare Consulting, a life-science focused, strategy consulting firm acquired by the Monitor Group. He has also worked as a licensing associate at University of Pennsylvania’s technology transfer office patenting, marketing and out-licensing university research inventions to established and start-up medical device companies.  Through these roles, he has developed extensive market, customer, technology and company assessment expertise for healthcare related acquisitions, investments, in- and out- licensing arrangements and other R&D and commercial partnerships across every therapeutic area. 

Adam has extensive expertise in innovation, new business and corporate development, and R&D related functional areas. He has deep experience in the healthcare industry, evaluating and advising pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, medical supply, diagnostic, and enabling technology companies at the country, regional and global levels on a broad range of commercial, business development and R&D issues. He also assists healthcare related due diligence efforts for Monitor’s venture capital fund and development of growth strategies for the fund’s portfolio companies.

His research interests focused on cell adhesion and homing (including stem and progenitor cells), biomimetic materials and surfaces, and cell separation technology. Adam holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
