Ralph Judah
Ralph Judah is a co-leader of Monitor Innovation (MI) in Cambridge, MA and a member of the Monitor Group main Board. Prior to joining Monitor Company, Ralph practiced law in Johannesburg and was a Partner and Vice President of Bain and Company in Boston where he worked in Strategy for a decade and was a founding partner of Bain Capital. From 1992 -1998 Ralph was stationed in Johannesburg, Africa where he founded Monitor’s African operations and was Chairman of Monitor Africa.
In addition to extensive US work, Ralph is currently leading MI’s expansion into Asia in his areas of expertise: healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, retail, automotive, transportation, mining and financial services. His recent projects have centered in the areas of transformative innovation, growth strategies and revitalization, turnaround and consolidation strategies, merger and acquisition strategy and negotiation. He developed national health and development strategies for Israel, Singapore, Canada and Lebanon. In the U.S. he advised Massachusetts and California on the state’s biosciences initiatives. Ralph has worked on national growth and cluster development strategies in Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, South Africa, Lebanon, Israel, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa and Ireland.
Ralph holds degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Graduate Law Degree from its School of Law in South Africa. In addition he holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
