Adi Alon
Adi Alon is a partner at Monitor Group and a senior member of Monitor Innovation, a Monitor Group company. Mr. Alon has over 10 years of consulting experience working in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East serving a wide variety of clients with specific emphasis on telecommunications, electronics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and heavy equipment industries. In his projects Mr. Alon addressed a broad range of strategic issues including corporate strategy, business unit strategy, corporate venturing, new market entry, marketing strategy, competitive analysis, and simulation.
A representative sample of Mr. Alon’s recent assignments include redirecting the business model and developing an alternative partnering strategy for a semiconductor equipment manufacturer, designing a marketing and service offering strategy including market segmentation and offer prioritization for a data wireless provider, developing national industrial investment strategy in the emerging biotechnology sector for the government of Israel and developing strategic options for diversification leveraging core process development and synthesis skills for a global chemical company.
Adi was educated in economics (summa cum laude) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. Prior to joining Monitor, Mr. Alon worked at the research department of the Bank of Israel focusing on macroeconomic modeling.
